Mike O'Kelley

Executive Director

Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, I have worked in finance and administration positions in this area for over 35 years. Most of my work experience has been in the insurance and legal industries. I also worked in the non-profit sector for several years in administrative and finance positions. I have been active in various church and leadership positions in the North Alabama Conference of the United Methodist Church for over 30 years. Having an opportunity to help the church and the NAUMF grow and prosper is truly a fulfillment of God's purpose for me in this season of my life.

 

I have been married to Sandy for over 30 years and we were blessed to raise three sons. When I am not working, I love reading , traveling, and working in the yard.

Dana Aycox

Controller

After thirty years of being a Hoosier, I followed my husband to his home state of Alabama. We have two sons we are raising on our urban farm that includes chickens, goats, and fresh vegetables. I am a Certified Public Accountant and have a Master's Degree in Business Administration. My thirty years of experience as a Controller has been split between the banking, healthcare, and financial services industries. Currently, I manage the daily operations of the Foundation and the investments offered to its account holders. As a granddaughter of a pastor, I appreciate the challenges and triumphs unique to church organizations. I am here to help.

Jean Sandefur

Administrative Assistant

I have been with the Foundation for 15 years. Prior to this, I was the Administrative Assistant in the Department of Pastoral Services at Carraway Methodist Medical Center, until that department closed in 2002. I have worked in the North Alabama Conference of the United Methodist Church for 30 years and have also served as a church pianist and organist.

 

My husband Jim and I have three children, six granddaughters and two great grandsons. I am an avid reader and love gardening and cooking.
